Every server tunes its economy differently, so numbers here are intentionally generic. The principles carry over everywhere.
Legal income (your safety net)
- Server jobs: trucking, mining, fishing, taxi, delivery — slow but steady and low-risk.
- Player-run businesses: mechanics, clubs, restaurants. Great way to meet people and launder a story.
- Skills and crafting: if your server has them, invest early; they compound.
Criminal income (where the risk is)
- Server-approved activities: heists, runs, drug lines, chop shops — always within your server's rules and police requirements.
- Protection and fees: only where the server allows it and with consent from players who've agreed to the roleplay.
- Gang economy: pooled funds, shared stashes, tax on members. Keep records so disputes can be settled.
Heads up: Real-money trading, duplicating items, or exploiting bugs for cash will get you banned. Report bugs instead of abusing them.
Spend smart
- Keep a reserve. Losing a car, weapon or stash shouldn't end your night.
- Invest in things that create scenes: a hangout, a shop, a reputation.
- Don't flex wealth you wouldn't realistically have — it invites unwanted attention (and staff questions).
- Remember that story often pays better than cash: contacts and trust open more doors than money does.
Don't grind yourself out
If a money method feels like a second job, it probably is. Mix grinding with actual roleplay and you'll earn more and enjoy the server longer.
